Friends who met on the street in Adana to chat started arguing for an unknown reason. As the argument escalated, a person who took a shotgun from his car shot and killed his friend in the chest.
On the evening of February 7, a horror unfolded in the Meydan neighborhood of the Seyhan district in Adana. Ayhan Morali (53) met with his friend Yusuf A. (61) on Bakımyurdu Street to chat. Shortly after, a dispute broke out between the two for reasons yet unknown.
HE TOOK A SHOTGUN FROM HIS CAR AND KILLED
As the argument escalated, Yusuf A. assaulted his friend Ayhan Morali. Then, Yusuf A. opened fire on Morali with a shotgun he took from his car. Morali, shot in the chest, collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood, while Yusuf A. fled the scene. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the area. After the initial intervention by the health teams, Morali was taken to the hospital, but despite all efforts, he could not be saved.
SUSPECT ARRESTED
Yusuf A., who fled the scene after the incident, was caught and detained by police teams in an alley. The suspect, taken to the police station, stated during his interrogation that they had argued and exchanged insults with Morali, and that he shot his friend with the shotgun from his car. After his procedures at the police station, Yusuf A. was arrested by the duty magistrate.
