U.S. President Donald Trump stated that a second aircraft carrier will be dispatched to the Middle East very soon if talks with Iran fail, adding, "Regime change in Iran is the best-case scenario. There should be regime change in Iran."

Donald Trump spoke to reporters as he left the White House for a program at Fort Bragg military base in North Carolina.
"IF THERE IS NO AGREEMENT, WE WILL SEND A SECOND AIRCRAFT CARRIER"
In response to a question about whether the U.S. would send a second aircraft carrier to the Middle East, Trump said, "If we don't make a deal (with Iran), we will need it."
"THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER WILL BE ON ITS WAY VERY SOON"
Trump, noting that they have not yet reached an agreement with Iran, stated, "(The aircraft carrier) will be on its way very soon. There is one already stationed there. If we need it, we are keeping it on standby. A big, very big power."
In response to a question about whether negotiations with Iran would be successful, Trump replied, "I think it will be successful, and if not, it will be bad for Iran."
EMPHASIS ON REGIME CHANGE IN IRAN
In his statement, Trump said, "Regime change in Iran is the best scenario possible. There should be regime change in Iran."
ANSWER TO THE SYRIA QUESTION
Trump answered a question, "Are you satisfied with the current situation in Syria?" regarding Syrian President Ahmed Shara, saying, "I am pleased with what he is doing. He is doing a great job for the Syrian people. He is uniting the country."
"OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH VENEZUELA IS 10 OUT OF 10 RIGHT NOW"
In response to questions about Venezuela, Trump stated that he has "very good relations" with the current administration, saying, "As you know, we are working very closely together. Our big oil companies are going there. They will extract the oil and sell it for a lot of money, and Venezuela will get a large portion of that money. Right now, our relationship with Venezuela is, I think, 10 out of 10."
Trump mentioned that they know Venezuelan President Delcy Rodriguez, stating, "We are in talks with them, and they are really doing a great job right now. Delcy has done a very, very good job, and the relationship is strong."
Reiterating that oil is currently being extracted in Venezuela and that other countries are paying a lot for oil, Trump assessed, "We are also interested in this. We are refining it, and right now, we are the only country with refining capacity." In response to a question about whether he would visit Venezuela, Trump said, "I will visit Venezuela," but did not provide details on the date.
