US President Donald Trump, who could not get support from NATO in attacks on Iran, issued a challenge. Trump said, "We spend hundreds of billions of dollars every year to protect these countries, but they do nothing for us, especially in times of need. Fortunately, we have largely destroyed Iran's military power. Because of this military success we have achieved, we no longer need the help of NATO countries. In fact, we never did."

The tension between U.S. President Donald Trump and NATO regarding Iran has increased. Trump, who sought support from NATO member countries for attacks on Iran but did not find what he expected, issued a challenge. Trump stated that they do not need NATO.

TRUMP'S REACTION TO NATO ON IRAN

In his statement, Trump said: "The U.S. has been informed that most of its allies in NATO do not want to participate in the military operation against Iran. This happened despite the fact that almost all countries strongly support what we are doing and believe that Iran should not have nuclear weapons in any way. However, I was not surprised by this attitude.

"WE SPEND BILLIONS OF DOLLARS BUT THEY DO NOTHING"

Because I have always seen NATO as a one-sided structure. We spend billions of dollars every year to protect these countries, but they do nothing for us, especially in times of need. Fortunately, we have largely destroyed Iran's military power.

"WE DON'T NEED ANYONE'S HELP"

The navies, air forces, air defense, and radar systems have been eliminated, and most importantly, the leadership ranks at almost all levels are no longer in a position to pose a threat.

Due to this military success we have achieved, we no longer need the help of NATO countries. In fact, we never did. The same situation applies to Japan, Australia, and South Korea. To be clear, as the president of the United States, the strongest country in the world, we do not need anyone's help."

U.S.-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN

Israel and the U.S. launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in some regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where U.S. bases are located, in addition to Israel.

In the U.S.-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, as well as many high-ranking officials, were killed. According to Iranian officials, the death toll from the U.S.-Israel attacks exceeded 1,348, and the number of injured surpassed 17,000.
