Trump, who stated that he gave the order to strike the island, claimed that they "completely destroyed the military targets on Hark Island, which is the apple of Iran's eye."
Trump noted that they did not strike the oil infrastructure on the island, but he would reconsider this decision if safe passage for ships through the Strait of Hormuz is not allowed.

Calling on the Iranian army to lay down their arms, Trump stated, "Iran will never have nuclear weapons. They will not have the capability to threaten the US, the Middle East, or the world."
It is known that Hark Island is located about 30 kilometers off the Iranian mainland and that approximately 90% of Iran's oil exports are carried out from there.
US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN
Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations.
Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, many high-ranking officials, including Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, were killed.
According to Iranian officials, the death toll from the US-Israel attacks has exceeded 1,348, and the number of injured has surpassed 17,000.
