Tunisia Postpones Francophonie Summit To 2022

Summit slated for November postponed.

Head of the Francophonie University Agency (AUF), Slim Khalbous, on Tuesday announced postponing the International Francophonie Summit to next year.
AUF is a structure established 60 years ago and includes 1,007 universities and higher schools that use the French language in 119 countries.
Khalbous said on Facebook that the Permanent Council of Francophonie (affiliated with the AUF) decided to allow the organization of the World Francophonie Summit to be postponed for one year.
He did not give a reason for postponing the summit, which was slated for Nov. 20-21.
An official statement was not immediately issued by the Tunisian authorities regarding this postponement. -
