RİZE AT THE TOP, AFYONKARAHİSAR CLOSE BEHIND
The public opinion survey, conducted to measure social trends and citizens' perception of peace, revealed striking results. At the top of the list, shaped by the responses of people living in their own cities, is the shining city of the Black Sea, Rize. 88.4 percent of Rize's residents declared that they find their city completely safe. Afyonkarahisar, coming right after Rize, proudly represented the Aegean Region by securing the second spot on the list with a trust rate of 87.2 percent.

The top 5 cities, where citizens gave the highest marks in terms of peace and public order, have become reference points for urban security. The top 5 cities highlighted in the research and their security rates are listed as follows:

LOW POPULATION, HIGH SECURITY
Sociologists and security experts who examined the survey results in depth pointed out that the most important factor shaping the list is the population structure. Experts emphasized that in cities with lower population density and migration rates compared to metropolises, social ties are stronger, which directly increases individuals' sense of security. Additionally, the fact that three of the top 5 safest cities (Rize, Bayburt, Artvin) are located in the Black Sea Region has once again confirmed the region's success in peace and public order.
