The ranking of names from Turkey in the current billionaire list published by the US-based business magazine Forbes has changed. İpek Kıraç, who has held the title of "Turkey's richest woman" for a long time, has experienced a notable decline in her wealth.
NOTABLE CHANGE IN İPEK KIRAÇ'S WEALTH
İpek Kıraç, a member of the Board of Directors of Koç Holding, saw her wealth decrease from 3.1 billion dollars to 2.4 billion dollars. Thus, a loss of approximately 700 million dollars has been recorded.
THE TOP SPOT HAS CHANGED HANDS
With the update made in mid-February, the title of "Turkey's richest woman" has also changed hands. Semahat Sevim Arsel, a member of the Koç Family, has taken the top spot on the list with a wealth of 3.1 billion dollars.

According to the Forbes list, Turkey's richest person is Murat Ülker, with a wealth of 5.3 billion dollars. He is followed by Şaban Cemil Kazancı, the Chairman of Kazancı Holding, with a wealth of 5.1 billion dollars. It is assessed that a significant portion of Kazancı's wealth comes from the holding's energy and industrial investments.
