Turkey will host the 2026 Women's Volleyball Championship.

The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) has announced that Turkey will host the Women's European Volleyball Championship in 2026.

Turkey will host the organization together with Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, and Sweden. The A National Women's Volleyball Team will participate in this major event with the title of the last champion.

In the 2026 CEV Women's European Volleyball Championship, a group stage, quarter-finals, semi-finals, third place match, and final matches will also be played in Turkey. Turkey has previously hosted the Women's European Volleyball Championship in 1967, 2003, and 2019.

"WE ARE EXCITED TO BE AT THE HEART OF EUROPEAN VOLLEYBALL"

Mehmet Akif Üstündağ, President of the Turkish Volleyball Federation, stated regarding the hosting, "After the unforgettable organization held in 2019, we are excited to be at the heart of European volleyball once again as the host. We are participating in the tournament as the last European champion and we look forward to repeating our success on our home soil with the passionate support of our fans," he said.

The countries that have guaranteed participation in the European Volleyball Championship so far are as follows;

  • Azerbaijan (Host)
  • Sweden (Host)
  • Czech Republic (Host)
  • Serbia (2023 European Championship Ranking)
  • Netherlands (2023 European Championship Ranking)
  • Italy (2023 European Championship Ranking)
  • Poland (2023 European Championship Ranking)
  • France (2023 European Championship Ranking)
  • Bulgaria (2023 European Championship Ranking)
  • Ukraine (2023 European Championship Ranking)
  • Slovakia (2023 European Championship Ranking)

The other 12 teams that will participate in the 2026 CEV Women's European Volleyball Championship will be determined after the European Championship Qualifiers to be held in 2025.
