If our party comes to power, military hospital will be opened, says Kemal Kilicdaroglu.

If the Republican People's Party's (CHP) wins power in Turkey, in its first week, military hospitals will be reopened, the main opposition leader said on Tuesday.

Speaking to his party's parliamentary group, Kemal Kilicdaroglu criticized the closing of military hospitals.

Kilicdaroglu claimed that the Turkish army was the only army in the world without a dedicated military hospital.

"In the first week of our government, military hospitals will be opened. Our glorious army will have hospitals, also military doctors, and also healthcare personnel," he noted.

The government closed military hospitals after the defeated July 15, 2016 coup by the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) – carried out by a fringe group of military officers – that left 251 people dead and 2,734 injured. -
