Turkish, Serbian Postal Services Seal Strategic Partnership Deal

Agreement between PTT Turkish Post, Posta Serbia covers areas of e commerce, money transfers.

The national postal services of Turkey and Serbia inked a strategic partnership agreement on Monday.
The deal covering areas of e-commerce and money transfers was signed by Hakan Gulten, general director of PTT Turkish Post, and Zoran Djordjevic, acting director of Posta Serbia, in Serbia's capital Belgrade.
Djordjevic said the agreement represents an important opportunity for Serbia to tap into Turkey's lucrative e-commerce market.
He said Serbia hopes to replicate the success of the e-commerce industry seen in Turkey.
Serbia also wants to extend the Open Balkan initiative, which also includes Albania and North Macedonia, to the Turkish market, he added.
Gulten said the deal will help the two companies enhance their long-term cooperation and can enable Serbia to become a center of e-commerce in the region. -
