Thirteen people died and nine were rescued injured as a result of the collapse of two adjacent buildings in the city of Tripoli, Lebanon. Authorities noted that there may still be people under the rubble, and therefore search and rescue operations are ongoing.

TWO ADJACENT BUILDINGS COLLAPSED
According to news reports in the Lebanese press, two adjacent buildings collapsed yesterday in the Tebbene neighborhood of Tripoli, located in the north of the country.
BODIES OF 13 PEOPLE RECOVERED
As a result of the efforts of the teams dispatched to the area, it has been reported that the bodies of 13 people have been recovered so far. It was noted that 9 people trapped under the rubble were rescued with injuries.
SEARCH AND RESCUE OPERATIONS CONTINUE FOR THOSE TRAPPED UNDER THE RUBBLE
