According to the information obtained, two cars collided head-on in the Çınarköy neighborhood after the drivers lost control of the steering wheel. In the accident, 5 people, including 2 children, lost their lives, and 2 others were injured. Upon notification, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

The injured were transferred to hospitals in the city after the initial intervention by medical teams, while the deceased were taken to the morgue for autopsy procedures. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
In a statement from the governor's office, it was noted that a tragic traffic accident occurred as a result of a head-on collision between two vehicles at the exit of the Çınarköy neighborhood in the Çınar district, stating, "In the accident, a total of 5 of our citizens, including the drivers, lost their lives, and 2 of our citizens were injured. The treatment of our injured citizens in the hospital is ongoing. After the accident, health, gendarmerie, and relevant teams were dispatched to the scene, and necessary investigation work has been promptly initiated, and the investigation regarding the incident is ongoing. We wish God's mercy upon our deceased citizens, condolences to their families and loved ones; we wish a speedy recovery to the injured."
