It has been reported that two military planes crashed in the Meurthe-et-Moselle province of France. According to French media reports, two Rafale fighter jets collided in the air and then crashed near the town of Colombey-les-Belles in the middle of the day. ONE OF THE PILOTS EJECTED HIMSELFIt was stated that the pilot who was flying one of the planes, which is said to belong to the Rafale fleet at the Saint-Dizier air base in Haute-Marne, ejected himself, while search operations for an instructor and a student pilot on the other plane are ongoing. In a written statement from the Meurthe-et-Moselle Governorate, it was announced that the operations center was activated and search and rescue activities were initiated with the support of military forces after the accident involving the military planes. Gendarmerie and fire brigade teams were also among those participating in the search and rescue efforts. The statement from the Governorate did not provide any information about any casualties. It was stated that military officials are investigating the cause of the accident.
