Two individuals who attacked the AK Party Provincial Presidency with a Molotov cocktail have been apprehended.

Two of the three individuals who attacked the AK Party Provincial Headquarters building with a Molotov cocktail were captured.

Masked suspects who came to the front of the AK Party Provincial Headquarters wanted to enter the building. Seeing that the door was locked, one of the suspects ignited the Molotov cocktails and threw them into the building. The other two individuals kept watch around. While the suspects fled after the incident, a police team was dispatched to the area upon notification. During the police investigation, it was determined that one of the Molotov cocktails did not explode, while the other caused damage at the door. The recordings from the security cameras in the area were taken for examination. The moment of the Molotov cocktail attack on the party building was captured by the security camera. Authorities reported that the investigation is being conducted meticulously.

2 PEOPLE CAUGHT

After the attack, Iğdır Police Chief Niyazi Turgay visited the party building and conducted investigations at the scene. Turgay stated that the attack was carried out by three individuals and that two of them had been captured. Turgay also conveyed his best wishes to AK Party Provincial Chairman Ayaz.

AK Party Iğdır Provincial Chairman Ali Kemal Ayaz stated in a press release, "The organization, which loses power every passing day, tries to intimidate and scare people with such attacks. They should know that we are always standing tall. We will continue to serve our country in line with the instructions of our President. We will walk this path without ever getting tired, scared, or giving up."

Stating that a similar attack had occurred before, Ayaz said, "This is the second one; there was an attack with knives a month ago, and today it is like this. Our security forces are doing what is necessary. We condemn and curse this. We will continue on our path without stopping."
