Two male bodies found in the Bosphorus two hours apart! Their identities have been revealed.

In the Baltalimanı area of the Istanbul Bosphorus, the bodies of two individuals were recovered from the sea two hours apart. The lifeless bodies of Murat Şahin and Onur Ödem, who were taken from the sea by Coast Guard teams, were transported to the Forensic Medicine Institute's morgue.

A fisherman cruising the Bosphorus in the Baltalimanı area of Sarıyer noticed a person motionless on the surface of the sea.

Upon the fisherman's report, teams from the Coast Guard Command were dispatched to the scene. The teams, which arrived shortly, took the person from the surface of the sea onto a boat and brought him ashore. The individual, identified as Murat Şahin, showed no signs of assault or bruising. An examination by health teams determined that Şahin had passed away.

About 2 hours after this incident, citizens reported seeing another person motionless on the surface of the sea in the same location. The teams that arrived shortly determined that the individual they brought ashore had also passed away.

It was learned that the body belonged to Onur Ödem, and the funerals of Ödem and Şahin were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue. The police have launched an investigation into both incidents.
