It has been revealed that Pelin Köksal, a close friend and colleague of nurse Selen Bilgin, who died after the injection of anesthesia in Istanbul Beylikdüzü, also died in a similar way 2 years ago. The fact that Bilgin and Köksal's close friends are doctor Fatih A. raised suspicions.

SHE DIED AFTER THE INJECTION OF THE MEDICATION

The incident took place last week at Özel Birinci Hospital in Beylikdüzü Yakuplu. Allegedly, 24-year-old Selen Bilgin, who went to the hospital where her 77-year-old grandfather was staying as a companion, was injected with a medication used for surgery by her anesthesia doctor friend Fatih A. because she had a headache. Bilgin, who felt unwell in the early morning, was found dead on the couch in her room.

DOCTOR RELEASED AFTER BEING TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

Doctor Fatih A., who was taken into custody regarding the incident, claimed that Selen used the medication herself, while the medication bottle was found in Fatih A.'s pocket. Fatih A., a married father of 3, who was referred to the court with a request for arrest on the day of the incident, was released under judicial control.

HER CLOSE FRIEND ALSO DIED IN A SIMILAR WAY

After the incident, the Bilgin family initiated legal proceedings as complainants. An interesting detail about the incident was revealed. It was learned that nurse Pelin Köksal (28), who worked at the same hospital 2 years ago and was in the same friend group as Selen Bilgin and doctor Fatih A., was found dead in her house in Esenyurt for a similar reason. It was learned that Selen and her brother Saruhan, who went to Köksal's house because they couldn't reach her, found the other nurse dead with a butterfly on her arm and her face turning purple. The fact that Selen Nurse was also found dead in the same way drew attention to the anesthetic drug called "propofol" used.

While the Bilgin family mourned the death of their daughter, their grandfather Ali İbrahim Paker, who stayed with them as a companion, also passed away a week later. Paker, whose funeral was held in Bahçeşehir today, was buried next to his deceased granddaughter Selen.

SUSPICIONS FOCUSED ON THE SAME DOCTOR

Saruhan Bilgin, the brother of Selen Nurse, drew attention to the similarity between the death of Pelin Nurse 2 years ago and his sister's death, saying: "There was a suspicious death in the same way 2 years ago. This happened at the same private hospital where they worked. Pelin Nurse, who died, was a close friend of my sister. Fatih was also their doctor at the same time. When that incident happened, my sister had a spare key to her friend's house. We went together. I was also at the scene of the incident.

"THERE MAY BE MORE PELINS AND SELENS"

We called her friend at that time, but she didn't answer. We couldn't open the door with the spare key, so we called a locksmith and the police came. We went inside and found her friend dead, she was purple. She had needle kits on her arm just like my sister. We suspect that it is because of the same medication. We think it is the same medication and believe that this situation needs to be investigated further. We became suspicious of the situation. Maybe there are more Pelins and Selens like this," he said.

Father Serkan Bilgin expressed his demand for justice for his daughter, saying, "My daughter was 24 years old and in the prime of her life. It hurts me as a father. I am asking the honorable judges and prosecutors, how did you release that man? You released him and I am experiencing more pain on top of the pain. As a father, we will of course seek justice. I demand justice for Selen," he said. Meanwhile, it was reported that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
