A suspect, who is alleged to have physically harassed two students on an IETT bus in Kartal, was not removed from the bus. After a report was made to the police, the suspect became angry and started slapping himself. The suspect, who was cursing on the bus, also attacked the driver and passengers. Those moments were captured on a cellphone camera, and the police detained the suspect, who was identified as a security officer and had three prior criminal records.
In the 134 YK line of the İETT bus operating between Uğur Mumcu-Yakacık in Kartal, Istanbul, a person physically assaulted two students, E.E. (17) and B.E. (17), who are siblings. Upon this, the two students screamed on the bus, stating that they were being harassed. Hearing their voices, the driver locked the bus doors and did not allow the suspect to exit the vehicle. He then called the police to report the incident.
ATTACKED THE DRIVER AND SLAPPED HIMSELF
The suspect, who wanted to get off the bus, argued with the driver when the door did not open. After stating that there was a complaint against him, the suspect also attacked the bus driver. The agitated suspect then repeatedly slapped himself. When the bus door did not open, the suspect began to curse and was eventually detained by the police teams who arrived at the scene.
IT TURNED OUT HE HAD 3 CRIMINAL RECORDS
The suspect, Doğuş Ş. (47), who was taken to the police station, was reported to have worked as a security guard at a water reservoir. Doğuş Ş. has a criminal record for 'Threat', 'Intentional Injury', and 'Domestic Violence'. His statement was taken, and after the procedures were completed, the suspect was referred to the courthouse.
