The teams of the Cyber Crime and Security Branch of the Şanlıurfa Provincial Police Department detained C.K., who made posts against Atatürk on social media, and K.T., who shared a video praising the moments of burning a page containing the Turkish flag and the National Anthem.

In Şanlıurfa, 2 suspects were detained on the allegation of insulting the Turkish flag and Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk via social media.

Teams from the Provincial Police Department's Cyber Crime and Security Branch detained C.K., who made posts against Atatürk on social media, and K.T., who shared a video glorifying the moments of burning a page containing the Turkish flag and the National Anthem.

ONE OF THE SUSPECTS WAS ARRESTED

During the search at C.K.'s address, a shotgun, a mobile phone, and a SIM card were seized. After their procedures at the police station, the suspects were referred to the courthouse, where C.K. was arrested, and K.T. was released under judicial control.
