Two suspicious women, taking advantage of the holiday shopping rush in Bursa, stole products worth approximately 16,000 TL from a clothing store and disappeared. Those moments were captured by security cameras.
THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE RUSH
The incident occurred in the Yıldırım district. According to allegations, the two women wandered around the clothing store as if they were customers. Taking advantage of the employees being occupied with other customers due to the holiday rush, the suspects discreetly took the selected products outside the store. They then placed the products in bags and left the area.
THEFT DETECTED BY CAMERAS
The situation was noticed by the father of the business owner who was watching the security camera footage. Although the store employees were informed, the incident was noticed late due to the rush, and the suspects covered their tracks. Police teams who arrived at the scene upon notification began to examine the security camera footage. A search was initiated to capture the suspects.
"IT HAPPENED IN OUR FIRST MONTH"
Business owner Melih Bülbül reacted to the incident, stating, "When we took over this place, the neighbors said there were many theft incidents. We said we would be careful, but it happened in our first month. The fact that it occurred during Ramadan also saddened us. We are putting in effort and fighting. Hopefully, they will be caught as soon as possible," he said.
Bülbül expressed that they expect the suspects to be caught quickly to prevent similar incidents from occurring. - BURSA
