A collapse occurred during the demolition of a building that was recently vacated in Güngören, Istanbul. During the partial collapse of the building, 2 workers were trapped under the rubble. ONE OF THE 2 WORKERS RESCUEDUpon notification, police, firefighters, the Provincial Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. During the operations, one of the two workers trapped under the rubble was rescued and taken to the hospital by ambulance. Rescue efforts for the remaining worker under the rubble are ongoing.
