Two young women lost their lives in a fire that broke out in an escape room called "House of Horror" in the city of Makhachkala in Russia's Dagestan region. The women, who were trapped in the room when a gasoline canister accidentally tipped over and caught fire during the game, could not be rescued. Following the incident, it was stated that those responsible could face up to 10 years in prison in the investigation launched. This tragic event once again highlighted the importance of safety measures that should be taken in entertainment activities.

In the city of Makhachkala in the Dagestan region of Russia, a horrific incident occurred last weekend in a "Haunted House" escape room. Two young women lost their lives in a fire that broke out.

The victims of the incident were 19-year-old dental assistant Asiyat and 25-year-old personal trainer Madina. Asiyat became a victim of this tragic event just five days after her wedding. She had taken her husband Said with her.

According to the scenario in the escape room, Asiyat was tied to a chair and Madina was handcuffed. A chainsaw was also used as part of the game. However, things got out of control. One of the employees accidentally knocked over a gasoline can while trying to make the game scarier, and the room was engulfed in flames.

The two women were trapped in the dark and locked room. While the employees struggled to find the keys, customers at a nearby cafe noticed the smoke and called the fire department. The firefighters forced their way in, but unfortunately, it was too late.

Asiyat died from carbon monoxide poisoning while trying to save her friend Madina. Madina, on the other hand, lost her life due to burns that covered almost her entire body.

Asiyat's husband Said was also seriously injured and is currently receiving treatment in the hospital. Half of his body is burned, and he is not yet aware of his wife's death.

An eyewitness described the incident as follows: "They handcuffed the girl to scare her, then they poured flammable substance on her and tried to set her on fire. But things got out of control, and the girl actually caught fire. Her friend tried to save her but couldn't."

This tragic incident once again highlights the importance of safety measures even in recreational activities. The Russian police have launched an investigation into the incident and announced that those responsible could face up to 10 years in prison.

This sad event also raises questions about the safety of similar entertainment venues in Turkey. Experts emphasize the vital importance of emergency exit plans, fire extinguishing equipment, and staff training in such places.
