Ümit Dikbayır, who resigned from the İYİ Party and is claimed to be joining the CHP, made a statement regarding the allegations against him. Dikbayır denied the claim.
After being elected as a member of parliament from the İYİ Party, Ümit Dikbayır, who resigned from his party and continued his work in the Turkish Grand National Assembly as an Independent Sakarya MP, has been the subject of a striking claim.
CLAIMED TO BE JOINING CHP
Fatih Atik, TGRT News Ankara Representative, claimed that Ümit Dikbayır, the Sakarya MP who resigned from the İYİ Party, will be joining the CHP.
Atik stated in the program on TGRT, "Adnan Beker has joined, the discussion is ongoing. Ümit Dikbayır, who resigned from the İYİ Party, will also join the CHP," he said.
DENIED
Following the emergence of this claim, Dikbayır denied it. He stated regarding Adnan Beker, who resigned from the İYİ Party and joined the CHP, "I do not find what was done to Adnan Beker right. He asked me, 'Ümit, when are you coming to the CHP?' I replied, 'Bro, after what happened to you, I got scared.' This is not how politics is done. Politics is the art of winning people," he said.
