WHO IS ÜNSAL BAN?
On April 30, 2025, a detention order was issued for 15 individuals accused of manipulative actions in Borsa Istanbul.
Ban was detained and arrested on August 29, 2022, on charges of "sharing personal data with the leader of an organized crime group," "threat," and "blackmail."
Ban was released on September 2, 2022, under judicial control conditions of "not leaving the residence." After the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office appealed the decision, Ban was detained again. Ban, who was referred to the courthouse, was re-arrested and sent to prison on September 3, 2022.
