A young man who was fined 309,000 TL for fleeing a checkpoint in Zonguldak and had his vehicle impounded climbed to the fourth floor of a construction site. He was difficult to dissuade from his suicide attempt and was taken to the hospital.
A 24-year-old named T.T., who escaped from a checkpoint in the Çaycuma district, caused difficulties for the gendarmerie teams by climbing onto the roof of a construction site. After long efforts, the young man was safely brought down, and legal action was initiated against him.
A FINE OF 309 THOUSAND LIRA WAS IMPOSED
According to the information obtained, T.T. (24), who did not comply with the gendarmerie's "stop" warning at the checkpoint in Filyos, attempted to escape by making a dangerous lane change. The driver, who was caught in a short time, was imposed a total administrative fine of 309 thousand TL for dangerous driving, failing to comply with warnings, and having an insufficient driver's license. His vehicle and driver's license were confiscated for 60 days, and legal action was initiated for the crime of "endangering traffic safety."

Meanwhile, T.T. climbed onto the roof of a four-story construction nearby. Upon notification, health and reinforcement gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. During the persuasion efforts, T.T. caused difficulties for the teams and tried to pull down the teams that were trying to save him.
