A person who came to an entertainment venue in the Ereğli district of Zonguldak said, "I am Apo from Diyarbakır, I can't be wrong," and shot one person in both legs. A 23-year-old woman was also injured by stray bullets from the armed attack. The terrifying moments that occurred on Valentine's Day were captured by security cameras.
The Valentine's Day event held at an entertainment venue located on Süleyman Seba Street in the Orhanlar neighborhood of Ereğli district in Zonguldak turned bloody.
SHOT IN BOTH LEGS
At around 01:00, a person named A.G. arrived at the venue and, for an unknown reason, pulled out a gun from his waist and fired multiple times at the entrance of the venue. In the incident, where the security guard miraculously escaped uninjured, I.M.A. was shot in both legs.
RICOCHETING BULLETS HIT A WOMAN
A woman named Z.B. (23), who was with her friends on the exact opposite side of the venue entrance and tried to hide after hearing the gunshots, was injured when one of the ricocheting bullets hit her leg.
THE MOMENT OF TERROR CAPTURED ON CAMERA
The moment A.G. came to the front of the venue and opened fire, and the security guard along with Z.B. and her friends trying to escape was captured on security camera.
OPENED FIRE SAYING "IT CAN'T GO WRONG FOR ME"
In the footage, A.G. can be heard saying, "I am Apo from Diyarbakır, it can't go wrong for me," while people reacted by saying, "What are you doing!" After moving away from the entrance, A.G. turned around and fired again. Later, A.G. fled the scene by running when the gun jammed.
ARRESTED
Upon the notification of the surrounding people, health and police teams were dispatched to the area. The Public Order Bureau teams identified the assailant and initiated a search operation. The suspect A.G. was quickly apprehended and taken into custody.
Health teams took Z.B. and I.M.A. to the hospital after their intervention at the scene. It was learned that I.M.A. would undergo surgery due to the bullets that hit her leg.
FEUD UNDER INVESTIGATION
While police teams are investigating whether there is a feud between the business owner and the suspect, the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
