FIRE SPREAD QUICKLY THROUGHOUT THE HOUSEThe fire started around 5:30 PM on the first floor of the three-story apartment located on 1705 Street in the Yeşilova neighborhood of Muratpaşa. The fire, which began with the curtains catching fire, quickly grew and spread throughout the entire house. Menekşe Arslan, who was visiting the house at the time, tried to escape outside. Firefighters, dispatched to the scene upon the notification of neighbors who saw the fire, intervened and extinguished the flames in a short time. UNABLE TO ESCAPE DUE TO IRON BARSMenekşe Arslan, who could not escape due to the iron bars on the windows of the house during the fire, lost her life. After the work of the crime scene investigation teams, Arslan's lifeless body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue. Meanwhile, it was learned that the homeowner, Ramazan N., was not at home during the fire. "I HEARD A WOMAN'S SCREAMS"A neighbor, H.A., who witnessed the fire, said, "I performed the afternoon prayer and went downstairs. At that moment, I heard a woman's screams. We intervened together with the neighbors, but we couldn't get the woman out. The woman screamed, and it didn't take a minute. Flames rose from inside the house. May God not show this to anyone."
