ALLEGATION OF "PROMOTING AN ILLEGAL BETTING SITE"
According to allegations, Wanda Nara promoted an illegal virtual betting site on her social media account. The Argentine phenomenon, who has more than 16 million followers, quickly became the target of criticism after sharing the post. Immediately after the advertisement post, the betting site also made a statement on social media saying, "One of Wanda Nara's favorite games, [game name], is waiting for you," thus supporting the situation. However, Wanda Nara deleted this post five hours later.
While Wanda Nara's name is associated with allegations of promoting illegal betting, a similar situation is also present in Turkey. Famous figures Serdar Ortaç and Mehmet Ali Erbil were also detained on charges of promoting illegal betting and were subsequently placed under house arrest. While all of Ortaç's concerts were canceled, Erbil's program was also taken off the air.
