The incident occurred at a gas station on Aksaray - Ankara Highway in Ciftlik Neighborhood. According to the information obtained, 39-year-old Engin G., who got into traffic with his pickup truck with license plate 68 AHA 210 after consuming excessive alcohol, entered the station to buy fuel.
ASKED FOR 4 THOUSAND LIRAS OF FUEL, PASSED OUT AT THE WHEEL
Engin G., who ordered 4 thousand liras worth of fuel from the gas attendant, soon fell asleep with his head on the steering wheel due to the effect of excessive alcohol. When the pump attendant's efforts to wake the driver failed, the situation was reported to the neighborhood security guards patrolling the area. Upon the report, police, security guards, and 112 Emergency Service teams were dispatched to the scene. The driver, who was barely awakened after long efforts by health personnel and security guards, was taken out of the vehicle and attempted to be placed on a stretcher.
