WHEN SHE LEFT HOME, SHE SAID "I'M GOING TO PICK PEARS"
The mother of the missing Fatmanur Elibol, Fatma Avcı, stated that her daughter last left her mother-in-law and father-in-law's house saying, "I'm going to pick pears," and mentioned that her daughter was last seen at the intersection known as "Triangle" in Bucak.
Expressing her concerns about her daughter's life, mother Fatma Avcı said that she reported her daughter missing to the authorities after she disappeared, stating, "We are searching for my daughter everywhere, we have not received any news, dead or alive. We want to know if my daughter is alive or dead; this uncertainty is unbearable." Avcı emphasized that they are desperately seeking help from state officials and citizens.
In her public appeal, Avcı stated that her daughter would never abandon her two small children, saying, "I want my daughter to be found, dead or alive. She has two small children; she would not leave them. I have been sleepless for days, I cannot eat. I used to talk to my child every day; she would never just disappear. Please, if anyone has seen or knows anything, let us know. Everyone has children; no one should experience this pain," she said.
"TWO SMALL CHILDREN ARE LEFT WITHOUT THEIR MOTHER"
Fatmanur Elibol's father, Hüseyin Avcı, stated that he came to Burdur upon receiving news from Istanbul and that they have applied to the authorities. However, he expressed that they have not received any results despite the searches conducted for days, saying, "We do not know the condition of our daughter. Is she dead, was she kidnapped? There is no news. We are waiting for help from the authorities; two small children are left without their mother," he said.
