While there is curiosity about whether the U.S. will attack Iran, a concerning statement has come from the White House. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated, "President Trump's first preference is always diplomacy; however, as he has shown, he is prepared to use the lethal power of the U.S. military if necessary."

The White House stated on Tuesday that U.S. President Donald Trump prioritizes diplomacy in his approach to Iran but does not rule out military intervention when necessary.

"TRUMP READY TO USE THE DEADLY FORCE OF THE U.S. MILITARY"

Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt told reporters, "President Trump's first preference is always diplomacy; however, as he has shown, he is ready to use the deadly force of the United States military if deemed necessary," she said.

"WE DESTROYED IRAN'S NUCLEAR FACILITIES IN JUNE"

Leavitt referred to the "extremely successful" Operation Midnight Hammer, which she stated destroyed Iran's nuclear facilities in June, while also warning that the threat has not completely disappeared. Leavitt added that "this does not mean that Iran will never attempt to rebuild a nuclear program that could directly threaten the U.S. and our allies abroad," emphasizing that Trump is focused on preventing this scenario.

"TRUMP WILL MAKE THE FINAL DECISION"

Leavitt also reacted to recent media reports about internal discussions, stating, "No one hiding behind an unnamed source has the slightest idea of what President Trump is actually thinking." She emphasized that Trump continues to be the "final decision-maker."

Leavitt noted that Trump will address "ongoing threats abroad" in his upcoming State of the Union speech, pointing to the "Death to America" slogans in Iran as evidence of the continuing threat.

These statements came ahead of the third round of indirect nuclear talks scheduled for Thursday in Geneva, where Iran is expected to present a draft proposal, mediated by Oman.

Tensions in the region have significantly escalated in recent weeks with the deployment of U.S. aircraft carriers and bombers to the Middle East.
