In a program he attended, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz made statements regarding the issue and denied the claims. In his statement on the matter, Yılmaz said, "This is completely untrue; such a thing is not the case. It is a regulation concerning those who use data obtained from the geographic information matrix for commercial purposes. It has no connection to tradesmen or citizens. It is a completely baseless and false claim."
