A 4.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Kalecik district of Ankara. Prof. Dr. Naci Görür stated that the earthquake was on the Çankırı Fault Zone and warned that this fault line could produce earthquakes of up to magnitude 7.
The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced that a 4.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Kalecik district of Ankara. The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 11.08 kilometers at 08:24 in the morning.

Seismologist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür stated in a post on his social media account that the earthquake occurred on the Çankırı Fault Zone. Görür warned about the danger of the fault zone, saying, "This zone can produce earthquakes of up to magnitude 7."

Pointing out that the earthquake was of a reverse fault nature, Görür expressed that the fault line progresses approximately northward and forms the western border of the Kırşehir Massif.
