It was reported that the USS George H.W. Bush, the third aircraft carrier of the United States, has been deployed to the Middle East, having departed from Norfolk Harbor in Virginia.

According to the Wall Street Journal, U.S. officials claimed that the USS George H.W. Bush aircraft carrier and its accompanying warships have departed from Norfolk to accompany the other two aircraft carriers in the Middle East.
Two officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated that the USS Abraham Lincoln, one of the two aircraft carriers in the region, is operating in the "Arabian Sea," while the USS Gerald R. Ford is in a Croatian port for repairs.
Officials suggested that all three aircraft carriers could meet in the Middle East in the foreseeable future.
A STEP THAT STRENGTHENS THE CLAIM OF "GROUND OPERATIONS"
The deployment of the third ship, the USS George H.W. Bush, is said to coincide with a period when U.S. President Donald Trump is considering more military options, including ground operations, in Iran and more U.S. forces are being dispatched to the region.
The USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier had come to the Souda Naval Base for repairs.
The U.S. Navy's 5th Fleet announced on March 12 that a fire caused by a technical malfunction had broken out in the laundry section of the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier.
The ship, which was operating in the Red Sea, arrived at the Souda Naval Base on Monday, March 23, for repairs after the fire.
The New York Times claimed that the fire lasted more than 30 hours, and that over 600 sailors and crew members, whose sleeping quarters were damaged in the incident, have had to sleep on the ground and on tables since that date.
