Kadir Şeker, who was sentenced to 12.5 years in prison for killing Özgür Duran while trying to prevent him from allegedly abusing Ayşe Dırla in Konya, was released on July 31, 2023. After years, Şeker was seen for the first time at a kokoreç restaurant in Kırıkkale.
Kadir Şeker thought that a woman was being subjected to violence upon hearing the sounds of an argument in the park located in the Kosova neighborhood of the central Selçuklu district on February 5, 2020, and tried to separate the couple.
DIED IN HOSPITAL
During this time, Şeker encountered verbal and physical intervention from Özgür Duran, and during the struggle between them, Duran was injured by a knife wound and died in the hospital.
