The trial regarding the murder of Narin Güran, who was found to have been killed in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, is being held on its third day at the Diyarbakır 8th High Criminal Court. During the first hearing, which started on November 7 at 09:00, the detained suspects were brought to the courthouse under heavy security measures. In the hearing, first, the statements of Nevzat Bahtiyar, who confessed to carrying Narin's body to the stream, were taken, followed by the statements of Enes, Yüksel, and Salim Güran. After the suspects' statements were completed, Narin's father, Arif Güran, was heard as a witness. Later, Nevzat Bahtiyar's wife, Gazal Bahtiyar, was also heard.

WITNESSES WERE HEARD YESTERDAY

On the second day of the trial yesterday, witnesses Baran Güran, Osman Güran, Muhammed Kaya, Maşallah Güran, underage witnesses M.E.G., A.K., G.G., and M.G., as well as Melek Güran, Birsen Güran, Hediye Güran, Mehmet Selim Atasoy, Yasemin Gül, Vecdi Bahtiyar, Barış Güran, Ali Rıza Güran, Ufuk Kaya, Furkan Kaya, Yusuf Kaya, Erhan Güran, Rojin Güran, Dilek Güran, Nesrin Güran, and Remziye Çabaş were heard.

FATHER SAID IT WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT EVIDENCE

On the third day, the hearing started at 10:00. Before the hearing, the detained suspects were brought back to the courthouse under heavy security measures. The witnesses and relatives of the Güran family were admitted to the courthouse collectively. Nine people from the Güran family will be heard as witnesses. On the other hand, at the family's request, the security camera footage from the Dara 2 Military Base, which overlooks the area on the day of the incident and is located across from Arif Güran's house, was prepared to be presented to the court. The prepared footage will be watched in today's hearing. Father Arif Güran stated that the most important evidence to clarify the murder is the cameras in the military base area.

"THEY ACCUSED ME WITH A SCARF"

In today's hearing, the Court President asked Anne Yüksel Güran, "You watched the footage, what would you like to say?" In response to the Court President's question, mother Yüksel Güran said, "Right now, I am the most grieving and victimized mother in the world. They accused me with a scarf."

"THEY SQUEEZE THE GÜRAN FAMILY LIKE A LEMON"

Mother Güran continued her statement: "They are squeezing the Güran family like a lemon; everyone is deceiving us. Nevzat was in my house that day, listening to us; my daughter knew she was going to the Quran Course. I have forgotten my daughter's pain; I am concerned about my honor."

"IF WE ARE THE KILLERS, HANG US"

Everyone should put their hand on their conscience. Kill me, but how will you account for these slanders? I am a mother; one of my children is in the grave, and they accuse one of my children of being a killer. You have killed us; you have destroyed us. If we are the killers, hang us. I couldn't even attend my daughter's funeral. Is the Güran family greater than God?

After Yüksel Güran's statement, it was learned that father Arif Güran cried and shouted as he left the courtroom.
