On the other hand, Zelensky also referred to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte's visit to Ukraine, emphasizing that strengthening air defense was a priority topic in their discussions, and that Ukraine urgently needs Patriot air defense systems and the missiles required for these systems.
Zelensky stated, "Patriot systems are for defensive purposes. We are not only requesting these systems but are also ready to purchase them. This is entirely a political issue. Both the systems and the missiles are available in the world. However, whether we can provide sufficient protection against Russia's ballistic attacks depends on the political decisions that will be made."
