A new development has occurred in the ongoing drug investigation in Istanbul. An operation was carried out at the famous venue 'ClubHouse' in Bebek with over 100 police officers. It was reported that the operation conducted by the Narcotics Department involved 100 police officers and 5 K-9 search dogs, and it was learned that the venue belongs to the partners of the famous Bebek Hotel, which was sealed by a court order as part of the same investigation.
The 'drug' investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is ongoing.
RAID ON THE FAMOUS VENUE WITH 100 POLICE
As part of the investigation, a raid was conducted by narcotics police at 'ClubHouse', located in the Bebek neighborhood of Beşiktaş, known as a hotspot for celebrities. It was learned that 100 police officers and 5 K-9 narcotics search dogs participated in the operation.
While it was reported that the search operation at the venue was ongoing, it was noted that entrances and exits were closed. Police are conducting body searches and background checks on individuals exiting the venue.
OWNED BY THE SAME PARTNERS AS BEBEK HOTEL
It was learned that the venue in question belongs to the partners of the famous Bebek Hotel, which was previously raided and sealed by court order as part of the same investigation.
BEBEK HOTEL INVESTIGATION
As part of the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, searches were also carried out at nightclubs and Bebek Hotel.
It was claimed that famous individuals registered at Bebek Hotel under different names, went to the VIP sections on the upper floors in groups, used drugs, and that customers entering the hotel were not searched, and there were no X-ray devices.
Nineteen suspects, including the owner of Bebek Hotel, Muzaffer Yıldırım, were arrested in a previous operation, while in this operation, in addition to Can Yaman, 6 more individuals were detained.
Yaman was released after his procedures at the police station, while it was decided to arrest other suspects Ayşe Tarım, Ayşe Sağlam, and Ceren Alper, and to apply judicial control measures to Burak Fahri Yön, Nilüfer Batur Tokgöz, and Selen Görgüzel.
