The accident occurred around 5:00 PM on Karalar Road in the Akhisar neighborhood of İnegöl. The unlicensed driver, 14-year-old Ali B., who took the car without his father's knowledge, took 7 of his friends for a ride after classes ended.
CRASHED INTO 3 CARS AND OVERTURNED
After driving around with his friends for a while, Ali B. lost control on Karalar Road. The out-of-control car crashed into 3 parked vehicles and overturned. The moment of the accident was captured by the security camera of a business.
8 CHILDREN INJURED
Upon notification from the surrounding people, health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the accident site. Ali B. and his friends Sergen B. (14), İsmail Ş. (16), Efe D. (15), Bilal A. (15), Enes T. (16), and Muhammed D. (16), who were injured and trapped in the vehicle, were rescued by firefighters and handed over to health teams. 7 injured individuals were taken to İnegöl State Hospital by ambulances. Meanwhile, Muhammed T. (16), who got scared and fled the area injured after the accident, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after feeling unwell 13 kilometers away from the accident site. It was reported that the injured individuals undergoing treatment were not in life-threatening condition. The police have launched an investigation into the accident.
