PLANE WITH 16 PEOPLE MISSING FROM RADAR
According to national media, the Beech 1900D aircraft operated by Satena Airlines went off radar near the town of La Playa de Belen in the Norte de Santander region. Authorities announced that a large-scale search and rescue operation has been launched to find the plane, which has 13 passengers and 3 crew members on board.
It was reported that the plane was heading to the city of Ocana in the Norte de Santander administrative region and was scheduled to land at 12:10 local time under normal conditions.
