In the incident that occurred on August 7 in the Akşemsettin neighborhood, Muammer Öztürk was seriously injured in a gun attack while getting into his car to go to work. While Muammer Öztürk was taken to the hospital by bystanders, he lost his life, and the attackers fled the scene.

In the investigation initiated by the Public Order Branch regarding the incident, it was determined that the moment of the murder was captured by security cameras. As a result of the examination of the security camera footage, it was seen that the suspects arrived at the scene as two individuals, and one suspect fired at the vehicle.
THE ONE WHO USED THE GUN IS 18 YEARS OLD
The police identified the suspects by tracing the security camera footage. M.T.U. (18), who used the weapon in the incident, was caught along with M.C.B. in an operation conducted in Beylikdüzü. While the suspects were interrogated at the Homicide Bureau, the number of detainees increased to 3 with the capture of 17-year-old N.B.A.
It was determined that the attack stemmed from a longstanding feud. Among the suspects transferred to the courthouse, M.T.U. and N.B.A. were arrested, while M.C.B. was released under judicial control with a travel ban.
