Dündar announced that a "transition fee" of between 5 and 10 lira is anticipated for cigarettes due to cost increases and tax updates within the month of February.

In a statement on his social media account, Dündar noted that the increase in production costs and tax regulations would be reflected in prices. It was stated that the increases could be applied at different rates depending on the brands.
