Czech Republic Ministry of Defense Spokesperson David Szima announced that they are ready to send troops to Ukraine on a stability mission in the event of a ceasefire agreement between Russia and Ukraine. Emphasizing that they do not foresee active participation in armed conflicts, Szima stated that Czech soldiers could engage in activities such as training, mine clearance, and reconstruction.
While diplomatic efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine War continue, regional countries are taking new steps regarding security.
CZECH REPUBLIC: WE ARE READY TO SEND TROOPS TO UKRAINE
Recently, the Czech Ministry of Defense announced that they are ready to send troops to Ukraine for a stability mission in the event of a ceasefire agreement being signed between Moscow and Kiev. Ministry Spokesperson David Szima stated, "The Czech Republic is part of the Coalition of Volunteers and coordinates all its activities closely with its partners. We do not exclude assistance to Ukraine in connection with compliance with the peace agreement," he said.
"THEY WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN COMBAT"
Szima emphasized that the Prague administration does not foresee the active participation of Czech soldiers in armed conflicts. Szima noted that Czech soldiers could provide training to Ukrainian soldiers, engage in mine clearance, and participate in activities that would serve the reconstruction of Ukraine.

Previously, France, England, Germany, and Lithuania had also announced that they were ready to send troops to Ukraine.
