In a drug operation carried out in the Kemer district of Antalya, 28 suspects were detained. As a result of technical surveillance, the identity of a person who died due to drugs was determined from a phone call of one of the suspects. The forensic report confirmed that the death occurred due to drug poisoning.
In the Kemer district of Antalya, it was determined that E.C.G., one of the 28 suspects detained in a drug operation, referred to a person in a phone conversation with the words, "Let it be like a bomb, I said. We put a little too much, the man's body couldn't handle it," and that person was Hasan Akın (43), who was found dead in a guesthouse on August 18, 2025.
6 MONTHS OF TECHNICAL AND PHYSICAL SURVEILLANCE
As a result of the work carried out by the Narcotics Branch of the Provincial Gendarmerie Command to prevent drug trafficking and use in Kemer, 6 months of technical and physical surveillance was conducted on suspects selling drugs obtained from the city center and surrounding districts in Kemer. Gendarmerie teams determined that suspects A.Y., E.İ., A.E., A.K., E.C., İ.H.B., M.K., E.C.G., E.D., and S.B. were supplying and selling skunk, methamphetamine, synthetic pills, and synthetic cannabinoid-bonzai substances in Kemer. A simultaneous operation was carried out yesterday to capture a total of 28 suspects, including drug dealers. Searches were conducted at 28 addresses, including 21 in Kemer, 3 in Finike, 1 in Serik, 1 in Muratpaşa, 1 in Döşemealtı, and 1 in Istanbul. In the operation, 28 suspects were detained. During the searches at the addresses, rifles, handguns, and drug paraphernalia were seized.
PHONE CONVERSATION REVEALED
In the technical surveillance, suspect E.C.G. was recorded in a phone conversation with A.Y. saying, "My son, the man is dead, not from alcohol. Yesterday I got into his blood. He was a bit drunk. I gave him five. I told M. brother, 'Do something nice so it will be like a bomb.' We put a little too much, the man's body couldn't handle it." In the examination, it was determined that the person mentioned in the conversation was Hasan Akın, who was found dead in a guesthouse in the Çıralı area of Kemer on August 18, 2025. The forensic report established that the death occurred due to drug poisoning, directly linking it to the case. The suspects, who are undergoing procedures at the gendarmerie, will be referred to the courthouse for the crimes of 'Manufacturing and trafficking of drugs or stimulants' and 'Possession of drugs or stimulants for personal use.'
