The announcement from the Ministry included the following statements; "In line with the normalization process that began with the liberation of Syria after December 8, procedures for entry with a passport have started at our Syrian Land Border Gates.

Turkish citizens and Syrian citizens who have acquired citizenship of a third country will be able to enter and exit through our other Land Border Gates with a passport, except for the Peace Spring Operation Area located at our Syrian border."
