Following the incident that resulted in Göksu Çelebi's death, Gökalp İçer, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the cryptocurrency exchange ICRYPEX, was taken into custody. It was alleged that İçer supplied drugs to Çelebi. When brought to court, İçer was arrested on charges of attempted murder with intent and drug supply.
