FIRE BROKE OUT AT THE MUNICIPALITY'S CLEANING DEPARTMENT
The fire broke out around 5:30 PM in front of the cleaning department of the Kocasinan Municipality located on Erkilet Boulevard in the Sümer neighborhood of Kocasinan district. The flames quickly spread, engulfing the parking lot of the cleaning department. Upon notification from the surrounding residents, police and fire brigade teams were dispatched. The fire brigade teams that arrived at the scene began working to extinguish the fire.
8 CLEANING VEHICLES BURNED
Meanwhile, the growing flames spread to 8 vehicles, including 7 mobile cleaning vehicles and 1 mosque cleaning minibus, which were parked. While the mobile cleaning vehicles turned to ashes, the mosque cleaning minibus was damaged. After approximately 1 hour of work by the teams, the fire was extinguished. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
Furthermore, it was noted that the first intervention to the fire was made by the water cannon vehicles belonging to the Provincial Police Department's Riot Police Branch.
