The fire broke out around 5:30 PM in front of the cleaning department of the Kocasinan Municipality located on Erkilet Boulevard in the Sümer neighborhood of Kocasinan district. The flames quickly spread, engulfing the parking lot of the cleaning department. Upon notification from the surrounding residents, police and fire brigade teams were dispatched.
