2 Mexican Actors Die On Set While Practicing A Scene

Actors Jorge Navarro Sanchez and Luis Gerardo Rivera fall from bridge while practicing scene for new season.

Two Mexican actors practicing a scene for a TV series fell from a bridge and died on Thursday night, broadcaster Televisa announced.

Jorge Navarro Sanchez and Luis Gerardo Rivera were actors for the series "Sin Miedo de la Verdad" or "Fearless of the Truth."

"Our prayers are with the families of Jorge and Luis Gerardo, to whom we extend our most heartfelt condolences," Televisa said in a statement late on Thursday night.

Televisa announced that production was in contact with authorities in Mexico City.

The series began in 2018 and announced in August that it would release a third season in 2020. -
