Bright Osayi-Samuel requested a new meeting with Serdal Adalı, stating that he asked for extra money without his father's knowledge of the situation with Beşiktaş, but he received a negative response. Meanwhile, the English press reported that Bright Osayi-Samuel, whose transfer was vetoed by Beşiktaş, has reached a preliminary agreement with Birmingham, a team from the English Championship.
The transfer of Bright Osayi-Samuel to the Super Lig giant Beşiktaş was canceled. He requested the club's president, Serdal Adalı, for a signature, but this request was not accepted.
TRANSFER CANCELED AT THE LAST MINUTE
The black-and-white team reached a three-year agreement with Osayi-Samuel for an annual fee of 1.9 million euros. The 27-year-old footballer's father, Nelson Osayi, requested an additional 300,000 euros per season from the black-and-white club. Following this, Osayi's transfer to Beşiktaş was halted.
Annoyed by his father's extra fee demand, President Serdal Adalı stated, "We decided to halt the transfer due to the unreasonable last-minute requests from Osayi Samuel's father," thus canceling the transfer.
"MY DAD CALLED WITHOUT TELLING ME"
After the events, journalist Fatih Doğan reported that Osayi Samuel spoke with Serdal Adalı, saying, "My dad called without telling me and canceled the transfer; I have no knowledge of what happened. Let's talk again." However, Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı did not accept Osayi's request and reiterated that the transfer negotiations had ended.
NOT BEŞİKTAŞ BUT BIRMINGHAM
