Sergen Yalçın, during his commentary period before becoming Beşiktaş's head coach, criticized the Muçi transfer, emphasizing that the player did not get playing time in the Albania National Team and found the transfer fee paid too high. After taking over as head coach, Yalçın maintained this view, saying, "He played very well in Trabzon, let him continue there. He is not a bad player, but he doesn't fit my system."
TRABZONSPOR USED THE OPTION
Muçi, who was loaned to Trabzonspor from Beşiktaş with a purchase option, drew attention with his successful performance wearing the burgundy-blue jersey. Satisfied with the player's contribution, Trabzonspor management activated the 8.5 million Euro purchase option and acquired the player's registration from Beşiktaş.
20 MILLION EURO OFFER
Following his rise at the burgundy-blue club, the first serious move for Muçi came from Europe. Aston Villa, an English Premier League team, offered Trabzonspor 20 million Euro for the player. Additionally, it was reported that Italian Serie A representative Napoli is closely monitoring the Albanian footballer.
