In the Mamak district of Ankara, 6-year-old Emir Ali Gümüş fell from a window next to the fire escape and lost his life. Following the incident, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene, and Gümüş's body was taken to the forensic medicine department. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
Emir Ali Gümüş (6), who fell from the window next to the fire escape on the 13th floor of the building where he lived in the Mamak district of Ankara, lost his life. The incident occurred yesterday evening on Ahmet Akbaş Street in the Hürel neighborhood in a 16-story apartment building. Emir Ali Gümüş, one of the two children of the Gümüş couple living on the 13th floor of the apartment, was playing in the corridor when he leaned out of the window next to the fire escape and fell. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. During the examination by the health teams, it was determined that Emir Ali Gümüş had lost his life. After the examination, Gümüş's body was taken to the Ankara Forensic Medicine Institution. It was stated that Emir Ali fell while leaning out of the window to play, and the police took the statements of his parents.
'JUST STARTED PRIMARY SCHOOL'
Talip Yayabaşı, a witness and resident of the apartment, said, "When we went downstairs, he was already lying on the ground. We don't know how it happened from above; we didn't see it. It's a sad event. His mother was upset, they tried to calm her down. He had just started primary school. We have a corridor upstairs, and while looking down, he probably lost his balance. We were at home; we didn't hear anything," he said. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
